Troubleshooter: The oil that everybody forgets
It’s great that almost anything on the road today has some type of engine oil life reminder to let us know when it’s time to head into our local shop for maintenance. Still, sometimes it’s difficult to keep up on these things in our busy lives. And if you’re the type to stick to one garage whose database keeps track of your vehicle’s needs, you seldom have to worry about missing a required fluid change. But for the rest of us who sometimes visit different facilities based on convenience and immediate need, our attention is needed to the service history and manufacturer’s recommendations to avoid some potentially costly repairs.
